Privacy policy

RateTerrain is a static reference site. The honest summary: we collect almost nothing.

What we collect

• No accounts, no forms. You can't create a profile here, and our cost lookup runs entirely in your browser — your selections are not sent to us.
• Hosting logs. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard technical request data (IP address, pages requested) to serve and protect the site. We use aggregate, privacy-preserving statistics — visit counts, not visitor profiles.
• No advertising cookies or cross-site trackers. If we ever introduce advertising, this policy will be updated first and the change dated.
• Email. If you write to us, we keep the correspondence to answer you. We don't add you to lists.

Third parties

Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives the standard technical request needed to deliver the font files. Links to external sites (for example HealthCare.gov) are governed by those sites' own policies.
